We collect various types of personal information from players who use our App to create a comprehensive player profile. This information is primarily used to facilitate the matching of players with football clubs in Europe. The PII we collect includes, but is not limited to:

2.1. Contact & Identity Information:

• Full Name: To identify you.
• Email Address: For communication and account management.
• Phone Number: For communication.
• Photo: A profile picture (URL to Firebase Storage or base64 encoded).

2.2. Demographic & Personal Details:

• Date of Birth: To determine your age and eligibility.
• Current Location: Your geographical location.
• Nationalities: Your citizenship(s).
• Height & Weight: Physical attributes relevant to football.

2.3. Football-Specific & Professional Information:

• Playing Position: Your primary and secondary playing positions.
• Preferred Foot: Your dominant foot.
• Passport/Visa Information: Details about your passport and visa status relevant to international transfers.
• Work Permit Status: Information regarding your eligibility to work in certain countries.
• Availability: Your current availability for trials or transfers.
• Legal Transfer Status: Information regarding your current transfer eligibility (e.g., under FIFA regulations).
• Career History: Details of your current and past teams, leagues played in, level of play, appearances, goals, assists, clean sheets (for goalkeepers/defenders), and achievements.
• Media Links: URLs to highlight videos and full game footage.
• Player Biography/Profile: Your personal summary and "elevator pitch."
• Skill Attributes: Self-assessed technical, tactical, physical, and mental attributes.
• Objective Measurements: 100m sprint time.
• Education Details: School/college attended, graduation date, and academic grades.

2.4. Inferred & Derived Information:

• Age: Calculated from your date of birth.
• Player Matching Profile: A comprehensive profile generated from your submitted data, including skill scores (pace, aerial ability, etc.) used by our matching algorithm. This profile helps objectively assess your suitability for various club requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected personal information exclusively for the following purposes:

• Player-Club Matching: To evaluate your suitability for football clubs in Europe based on the criteria provided in your profile. Your profile attributes will be used to identify potential matches, but your personal information will NOT be shared with clubs without your explicit consent.
• Profile Creation & Management: To create, maintain, and display your player profile within the App.
• Communication: To communicate with you regarding your profile, potential matches, and App updates.
• App Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and feedback to improve the functionality and effectiveness of our App and matching algorithms.

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We will not use your information for any purpose other than those explicitly stated above, unless we specifically request additional information and obtain your direct and informed consent for that new purpose.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We are committed to NOT sharing your personal information with football clubs or service providers without your explicit consent.

If, in the future, we determine it is necessary to share your data with football clubs (for direct matching) or with specific service providers (to enhance our services), we will clearly request your explicit consent for such sharing at that time. Your data will not be shared without your direct approval.

We may share your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our App of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request the deletion of your information, we will delete it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Australian Privacy Principles).

Our App is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
